New at GRIZY — flat meat snacks for dogs

We have something for you that's been missing from our range for a long time — GRIZY flat meat snacks are now on sale. Thin, crisp, easy to break up — a completely different category from our classic chews. What are they good for and why is it worth keeping them within reach?

What are GRIZY flat snacks?

They're thin slices of dried meat and offal — unlike classic chews, which a dog gnaws for several to many minutes, these disappear in a few seconds. And that's exactly their advantage: they're not a challenge for the muzzle, they're an instant reward.

Production runs the same way as the rest of our range — low-temperature drying, no preservatives, no colourings, no flavour enhancers. Just meat and time.

Launch variants

• Beef liver chips — the number-one variant for training. Intense smell, dogs react instantly. Note: don't overdo the amount; too much liver can upset the stomach.
• Flat beef lung — light, very crisp, low in fat. Good for dogs on a diet and for seniors.
• Beef tongue slices — premium, rich in protein, with a distinctly meaty taste. Ideal as a "special occasion" snack.
• Cod strips — for dogs that don't tolerate red meats or have sensitive stomachs. A natural source of omega-3.
• Dried beef skin — harder than the rest, chewed longer, works a bit like a mini-chew too.

What are they good for in practice?

1. Training and teaching new commands

Probably the most obvious use. Flat chips can be broken into smaller pieces by hand, so one pack lasts a long session. Compared with a classic chew that keeps a dog busy for a quarter of an hour — here the reward is instant, which is key in training.

2. A reward on the go, on walks, when travelling

They fit in a pocket, no fat leaks out, they don't make a mess. A pouch in your jacket for a walk — and you have your dog's attention under control in busy places.

3. A hidden "guest" in interactive toys

Snuffle mat, Kong, treat ball — flat pieces fit nicely into all of them. Our Borys will pull chips out of the mat for 20 minutes, and that's time in which we can have a coffee in peace.

4. A supplement to the diet, not its basis

Let's say it plainly: snacks are snacks. They don't replace food and shouldn't make up more than 10% of a dog's daily calorie intake. Used well, they're a tool. Used badly, they're a road to obesity.

How does this differ from classic GRIZY chews?

Easiest to show in three points:

• Time to eat. Chew = 10–30 minutes of chewing. Chip = 5–30 seconds.
• Purpose. A chew keeps a dog busy and helps oral hygiene. A chip rewards behaviour or adds variety to the day.
• Portioning. A chew is given whole, once. A chip can be broken and spread out over time.

The two categories don't exclude each other — for most of our customers they work together. A chew in the evening, chips for training during the day.

The flat snacks are already available in the grizy.pl shop and from our trade partners. At launch we're introducing the five variants listed above — if we see one flavour attracting more interest, we'll expand the line with further options.
