Fish

Fish chews are whole dried sprats and cod skin in four shapes. Fish is a protein most dogs rarely encounter, so this category is useful for retailers whose customers have dogs with food allergies or sensitive stomachs.

Cod skin in four shapes

Cod skin is a single raw material that we offer in several forms, so it is easier to match the chew to the dog. Cod skin flat is the simplest to give and breaks easily into smaller pieces. Cod skin twist is twisted, so dogs chew it for longer. Cod skin rollo and cod skin ring are rolled, more compact shapes for dogs that like to work at a chew.

Sprats and fish in a dog's diet

Sprats are small dried fish fed whole – a good training reward and a snack for small breeds. Fish is a natural source of omega-3 fatty acids and a protein that most dogs have never eaten. That is why, alongside horse and camel, fish is a common choice for dogs allergic to chicken, beef or pork. Fish chews also suit dogs that do not tolerate red meat well. Where there are health concerns, it is worth discussing the diet with a vet.
