Polish wild boar – a protein beyond the everyday bowl

Game is one of the proteins most dogs have never come across. That is why owners of dogs with food allergies often choose it instead of chicken, beef or pork – ideally after talking to their vet. Our wild boar comes from Polish forests and natural forest management, and the finished product contains nothing but dried meat or skin.

From a hard leg to a soft stick

• Wild boar leg – a hard, long-lasting chew, from half an hour to several hours of gnawing; for adult medium and large breeds with strong teeth.
• Wild boar skin – a medium-hard chew, similar to pork skin; suits most adult dogs.
• Wild boar strips, wild boar cubes and wild boar sticks – soft, suitable for puppies, senior dogs and small breeds, and as a training reward.

With hard chews, keep an eye on the dog and take the piece away once it is small enough to be swallowed. The leg is best given less often, roughly once a week. Skin is fine two or three times a week, and the soft treats can be given daily in small amounts.
